Governance & Responsibilities

The General Assembly is the highest decision-making body, while the Board of Directors (11 members) provides leadership and oversight, serving four-year terms without salaries.

The General Manager and Deputy coordinate daily operations, recruit staff, manage programs, and report to the board. Financial integrity is maintained by the Accountant and Cashier, while the Auditor ensures compliance and transparency.

This structure supports OPPD’s mandate of delivering development, peacebuilding, humanitarian and capacity-building interventions effectively across East Africa.
